Manual installAdds the agent's script to your site, not a native WordPress app.

Add a free AI chat agent to WordPress

Install Anitilo on the pages where customers ask for help or decide whether to buy. The agent uses your data sources and leaves unsupported questions for your team to review.

Free includes 100 agent replies per month.

  1. 1

    Prepare the agent

Create an agent in Anitilo, add your help pages or store policies as data sources, and copy its generated install script.

  2. 2

    Choose a script-enabled location

On self-hosted WordPress, add the script to a Custom HTML block for one page or your theme footer for the whole site. On WordPress.com, JavaScript needs a plugin-enabled plan and activated hosting features; use a supported code-insertion method.

  3. 3

    Check your WordPress permissions

On self-hosted WordPress, the user who saves the block needs the unfiltered_html capability or WordPress removes the script tag. WordPress.com sites without activated hosting features only allow limited HTML, so the widget script will not run.

  4. 4

    Save and test the page

Open the published page in a private browser window, start a chat, and check that the agent uses the data sources you added.
